Petsolation is a mobile AR game that aims to serve as a mindless distraction for its user to divert their attention and provide comfort while the users are engaged. This is accomplished by introducing virtual cats and dogs who will need to be groomed, fed, and played with.

The application will allow users to have a dog or cat as a pet, they will have the option to choose from multiple breeds of these animals. The idea of having the pet again will be explored based upon our ability to get tasks done ahead of time. These pets will need to be groomed, fed and played with( for example you can play with a ball with a dog). The play mode will allow the users to choose from various pet toys and engage with their pets. The pets will mostly respond positively based on the user engagement. Our goal with the pets is to study emotional support and therapy pets to provide the team with a better understanding of how we can support the user better emotionally and physically.
